We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Description of Service
CoverLetterAI is an AI-powered platform that generates personalised cover letters based on information you provide, including your professional profile, work history, projects, and job descriptions. The Service operates on a credit-based model — you purchase credits and spend one credit per cover letter generated.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to keep your credentials secure.
5. Credits and Payments
Credits are purchased in advance and consumed upon each cover letter generation. Credits do not expire and are non-transferable. Credits are non-refundable once any credit from a transaction has been used. A refund may only be requested if no credits from the transaction have been consumed, or if the purchase was made by mistake. Please review our Refund Policy for full details. Prices are displayed in USD and are subject to change with reasonable notice.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to generate content that is fraudulent, misleading, defamatory, or in violation of any applicable law. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract proprietary data from the Service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these conditions.
7. Intellectual Property
The cover letters generated by the Service using your input data are owned by you. The underlying platform, models, branding, and software remain the exclusive property of CoverLetterAI. You grant us a limited licence to process your input data solely for the purpose of delivering the Service.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, error-free, or suitable for any specific application.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoverLetterAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 90 days preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction, as agreed by both parties.
